Therapist for Young People with Eating Disorders

This role is a vital component of our multidisciplinary team, providing assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people, and their families. We work with complex issues including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental presentations, and psychosis.
As a senior mental health clinician trained in Eating Disorders therapies, you will be skilled in Family Based Therapy (FBT) and other eating disorder treatment modalities. Your primary responsibilities will include clinical face-to-face work, supporting and mentoring other clinicians, secondary consultations within the service, and providing staff training.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical face-to-face work, including carrying a limited case load and supporting other clinicians
- Secondary consultations within the service, providing supervision, running peer supervision groups, and providing staff training
- Qualifications and experience in assessing and treating young people with eating disorders and comorbid mental health problems
- Training in Family Based Therapy (FBT) and other eating disorder treatment modalities
- Strong communication skills and a positive work attitude
- A collaborative and welcoming multidisciplinary team environment
