Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and optimizing daily warehouse operations for short shelf-life FMCG products, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO principles and DIFOT targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Oversight: Lead daily warehouse operations and optimize processes to ensure efficient supply chain management.">
  • Process Integration: Collaborate closely with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless supply of raw materials and ingredients and efficient dispatch of finished goods.">
  • Inventory Accuracy: Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP to maintain precise stock control, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.">
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to OH&S, GMP, and HACCP standards, particularly for food-grade warehousing and handling.">
  • Leadership Excellence: Inspire, mentor, and manage a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.">
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency within the warehouse.">
  • Hands-On Support: Provide support when required to assist with tasks such as forklift operations, stocktakes, or coordinating high-priority deliveries.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a short shelf-life FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing warehouse.">
  • Familiarity with handling perishable goods such as dairy, beverages, or fresh produce is highly desirable.">
  • Demonstrated success in managing large teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.">
  • Strong WMS skills, with SAP experience preferred.">
  • Proven ability to lead system implementations and train staff on new technologies.">
  • Safety and Compliance: Deep understanding of HACCP, GMP, and OH&S requirements in a manufacturing facility.">
  • Forklift Licence: Current LF forklift licence and a valid Australian driver's licence.">
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving process improvements.">
