We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located in Australia. This full-time permanent day shift role offers a competitive salary package of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, plus benefits.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Oversight: Leading and optimizing daily warehouse operations, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO principles and DIFOT targets.
  • Process Integration: Collaborating closely with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless supply of raw materials and ingredients and efficient dispatch of finished goods.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Implementing and managing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP to maintain precise stock control, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to OH&S, GMP, and HACCP standards, particularly for food-grade warehousing and handling.
  • Leadership Excellence: Inspiring, mentoring, and managing a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing operational improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency within the warehouse.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in a short shelf-life FMCG or food and beverage manufacturing warehouse.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with handling perishable goods such as dairy, beverages, or fresh produce is highly desirable.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in managing large teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong WMS skills, with SAP experience preferred. Proven ability to lead system implementations and train staff on new technologies.
  • Safety and Compliance: Deep understanding of HACCP, GMP, and OH&S requirements in a manufacturing facility.
  • Forklift Licence: Current LF forklift licence and a valid Australian driver's licence.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving process improvements.
