
Case Manager and Operations Lead

The Case Management and Coordination Lead will be responsible for leading the case management team in all aspects of day-to-day operations while providing support and supervision to team members.
This role is a key member of the Service Management Team and participates in Organisation Management meetings on a rotational basis.
The Case Management and Coordination Lead will work closely with other specialty roles within the organisation to provide professional supervision, training, data collection, research, evaluation, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and succession planning.
The role involves leading the CMC team in casework support to individuals, families, and carers, utilising a strengths-based approach. This includes working alongside community members experiencing complex issues to provide support and advocacy through various systems impacting individual and family lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the CMC team in day-to-day operations and provide line supervision to team members
- Work closely with other specialty roles within the organisation to provide professional supervision and training
- Develop and implement strategies for casework support to individuals, families, and carers using a strengths-based approach
- Provide advocacy and support to community members experiencing complex issues
- Tertiary qualification (bachelor's degree or higher) in Human Services and/or relevant field
- Demonstrated case management knowledge and experience within the community services sector
- Knowledge of relevant legislation within human services
- Commitment to client-centred and solution-focused case management approach
- Ability to lead, manage and develop a team and human service program
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
- Cultural competency and understanding of inclusive practices
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
This role is expected to be available for an on-call roster and participate in Organisation Management meetings on a rotational basis.
