About the Role

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the position of Psychiatry Training Coordinator. This individual will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality medical education and training programs that shape the future of psychiatry across our district.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Medical Education Support Officer, Director of Training, and Director of Prevocational Training. Key duties include:

  • Providing on-the-ground support during training sessions
  • Managing attendance records, feedback systems, databases, and filing
  • Drafting correspondence, agendas, and minutes as required
  • Overseeing invoicing, reimbursements, and other financial functions
  • SUPPORTING ACCREDITATION ACTIVITIES AND PREVOCCATIONAL JMO ROSTERING

A typical week may involve orientation for new junior medical officers, supporting grand rounds and psychiatry formal education sessions, facilitating JMO psychiatry education sessions, and general administrative duties.

About You

We are looking for a confident and capable administrator who thrives in a busy team-focused environment. The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in high-level administrative support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • A customer-focused approach, including conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of RANZCP, HETI, AHPRA, and NSW Health processes or willingness to learn
