About the Role

This position will drive growth in Property lines of business by providing technical support to the business development team and managing underwriting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop profitable Property lines of business within the Property Division.
  • Underwrite new business according to established guidelines.
  • Establish strong relationships with key partners.
  • Enhance company profile through various channels.
  • Collaborate with Casualty underwriters for whole account underwriting.
  • Manage underwriting process, including quotation and policy issuance.
  • Assist with premium collections and review broker wordings.
  • Participate in project work and perform special tasks.
  • Develop relationships with key brokers and promote new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Prior insurance experience, preferably 2 years plus.
  • Understanding of the insurance industry and client relationships.
  • Strong relationships with key partner contacts.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service excellence.
  • Ability to communicate across organisational levels.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate PC software skills, Microsoft Office, and new software applications.
