Physiotherapy Educator

The role of a Clinical Education Physiotherapy Lecturer involves working as part of a team to establish and maintain high-quality clinical education opportunities within the physiotherapy program.
Primary responsibilities include facilitating student placements, conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions and clinical sessions. Additionally, lecturers will be involved in research activities, marking and assessment, and administrative functions.
Key areas of focus for this position include:
- Facilitating student learning experiences through effective placement allocation and supervision.
- Developing and delivering course material, including lectures and tutorials, that align with the physiotherapy program's curriculum.
- Engaging in research activities that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in clinical education physiotherapy.
- Maintaining professional development and staying up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A doctoral qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent clinical experience and standing.
- Significant clinical experience and knowledge/network within the clinical education domain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff and external stakeholders.
