Job Title: Lecturer (Clinical Education Physiotherapy)
">Role OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer in Clinical Education Physiotherapy to join our team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and coordinating high-quality clinical education opportunities within the physiotherapy program.
- Facilitating student placements, including liaison with facilities/supervisors, placement allocations and supporting students whilst out on placement.
- Conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions and clinical sessions.
- Initiating and developing course material.
- Acting as subject coordinators.
- Preparing and delivering lectures and tutorials.
- Involvement in research activities.
- Professional activity.
- Administrative functions.
- Marking and assessment.
Applicants should possess a strong background in physiotherapy, significant clinical experience and knowledge/network within the clinical education domain.
A doctoral qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent clinical experience and standing is also highly desirable.
Additionally, applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with academic colleagues, clinical facilities and external stakeholders.
They should also be able to facilitate positive outcomes for students and staff within the university environment.
