Physiotherapy Clinical Educator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a clinical educator. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and coordinating high-quality clinical education opportunities within the physiotherapy program.
About the RoleThe primary responsibilities of this position include working with academic colleagues, clinical facilities, and external stakeholders to ensure good governance, quality, and relevancy in all areas of clinical education, on-campus learning, and teaching within the program. You will also be responsible for facilitating student placements, conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, and clinical sessions.
- Facilitate student placements, including liaison with facilities/supervisors, placement allocations, and support for students while on placement.
- Conduct tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, and clinical sessions.
- Initiate and develop course materials.
- Act as subject coordinators.
- Prepare and deliver lectures and tutorials.
- Participate in research activities.
- Engage in professional activity.
- Perform broad administrative functions.
- Mark and assess student work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a doctoral qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent clinical experience and standing. You should also have significant clinical experience and knowledge/network within the clinical education domain. A record of scholarly and professional achievement in the relevant discipline area is highly desirable.
