Bar Attendant/Mixologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bar professional to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering exceptional drink experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cocktail Preparation: Craft and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, beers, and spirits with precision and flair.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service with a friendly and professional approach, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Stock Management: Take ownership of weekly ordering and maintain accurate stock levels through regular stocktaking.
  • Bar Setup & Close: Prepare the bar before service and ensure a clean and organized closing each night.
  • Compliance: Uphold RSA standards, hygiene protocols, and venue safety procedures at all times.
  • Team Contribution: Collaborate with fellow staff and management to deliver a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in bartending or mixology.
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a busy bar environment.
  • Attention to detail in both drink presentation and cleanliness.
  • Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
