About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join the team at the Public Transport Authority. This role is responsible for the procurement of low value goods and services, ensuring compliance with Public Transport Authority and Government procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting compliance reviews to ensure adherence to Public Transport Authority and Government standards.
  • Managing the purchase order process through the Ellipse Financial System.
  • Supporting the procurement needs of the Public Transport Authority.
  • Providing essential advice and assistance in the quotation process for low value procurement.
  • Purchasing goods and services through competitive quotations, Common Use Arrangements, or Public Transport Authority Panel Contracts.
  • Supporting the administration of contracts, assisting in developing routine contracts, and monitoring procurement progress across the Public Transport Authority.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Government procurement policies and procedures, including managing competitive processes.
  • Proficiency in using computerized purchasing systems and processes, with a strong understanding of contract administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
