About the Role
The Procurement Services team at Workforce Australia For Individuals is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to provide comprehensive procurement services to the Corporation.
This includes strategic sourcing, purchasing, and expediting of a broad range of goods and services (predominantly goods) to agreed standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify the adequacy of shopping carts received for the acquisition of goods.
- Provide procurement services to the Corporation, including strategic sourcing, purchasing, and expediting.
- Ensure that procurement activities are conducted in accordance with the Corporation's policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and report on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
