We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Geologist to join our Technical Services team at Yarrabee Coal Mine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the exploration planning and resource modelling efforts, ensuring the mine's continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement geotechnical hazard reporting and control strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with external Geotech RPEQs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead short-term modelling updates to inform mine planning and operations.
- Oversee coal reconciliation processes to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Lead a team of 2 direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and execute exploration planning and execution strategies.
- Maintain, manage, and capture all geological data to inform mine operations and planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology.
- Previous experience in exploration planning and JORC resource modelling.
