Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team in Launceston, ensuring seamless warehouse operations and driving cultural shifts.

This key role involves overseeing stock movement, storage, and system receipting in partnership with the Stock Controller. You will also be responsible for monitoring and scheduling vehicle and building maintenance, promoting a safe and compliant environment.

A successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive results through coaching, clear communication, and consistent leadership.

About the Role:

  • Manage a team of up to 40 staff members in a fast-paced operations or warehouse environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Ensure daily warehouse operations run smoothly, including dispatch, receipting, stock rotation, and HACCP compliance.
  • Evaluate and adjust processes as needed to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing large teams (35-40 people) in a fast-paced operations or warehouse environment.
  • Natural coach and leader, skilled in upskilling, mentoring, and getting the best out of your people.
  • Hands-on and proactive, knowing your team, stock, and processes.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple functions and shift patterns.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and proactive site compliance.
  • Forklift Licence Medium Ridgid Truck licence.
