Warehouse Leadership Opportunity

Oversee Warehouse Operations

Laminex seeks an experienced warehouse manager to lead our distribution hub.

This is a pivotal role in our national warehouse and international supply chain, requiring a strong leader with at least 3 years of experience managing small to medium warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Manage site distribution, warehouse operations, truck and forklift fleet, suppliers, property, and inventory control to meet KPIs and budget targets while ensuring a high level of EHS compliance.
  • Safety Leadership: Champion safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and AS-45001 standards.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor your team, driving people development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive site and process improvement projects using our Supply Chain Excellence Framework and adopt new technologies to maintain industry-leading service standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional services managers, broader supply chains, customer service, and local sales representatives to meet service commitments.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing and coaching staff within a warehouse environment (min. 2 years' exp. as a warehouse manager).
  • Strong understanding of small to medium warehousing and distribution environments.
  • LF Forklift Licence – highly desirable.
  • MR or HR Truck Licence – highly desirable.
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing EHS and COR in line with policy and legislation.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a customer-first approach.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
