WT Partnership is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Data Centre team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, mission-critical projects and possess extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software.

This role offers a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, plus benefits including bi-annual bonuses, paid professional memberships, wellbeing days, and a balanced way of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Master-planning and feasibility budgeting for large-scale projects
  • Cost checking of developing designs to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Value engineering to maximise client value
  • Tender evaluations and analysis to secure best outcomes
  • Contract negotiations to ensure favourable terms
  • Cash flow management to maintain project stability
  • Procurement and cost reporting to support informed decision-making
  • Final account reporting and claims preparation to ensure timely settlements

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction
  • Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software (Cost X)
  • Demonstrated track record of winning and managing major projects
  • Experience managing mission-critical projects or similar complex sites
