As an Administrative Officer with UQ Temps, you'll provide high-quality administrative assistance to staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of our offices. You'll manage electronic diaries, coordinate travel arrangements, maintain administration systems, and prioritise daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Managing electronic diaries and coordinating travel arrangements
- Coordinating committee/meeting activities, including scheduling and taking minutes
- Maintaining administration systems and prioritising daily tasks
- Organising domestic and international travel arrangements as required
- Conducting background research and data analysis
- Liaising with staff, students, and external stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures for documentation, correspondence, and matters processed through the office
- Assisting with the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of websites using Drupal
- Relevant experience or extensive experience in administration, business, or executive support
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Sensitivity in handling confidential matters
- Effective stakeholder management
- Strong problem-solving skills and judgment
- Flexibility and adaptability to hit the ground running in a range of roles and teams
- Broad understanding of UQ's administration procedures and structures
- Web applications development experience using Drupal
