Job Title: Service Engineer

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced service engineer to join our team. As a service engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective relationships with customers by gaining their respect and trust.
  • Proactively complete PM tasks according to Service Contracts.
  • Onsite repairs, surgical microscopes, diagnostics, and installation of designated high-end products and software.
  • Upgrade software and apply patches as necessary.
  • Complete Field Service Reports and related documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, provide technical support for customers, and escalate as necessary.
  • Consult with other vendors to mutually agree on a resolution.
  • Communicate technical issues on a non-technical level.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in an electronic / engineering / IT field.
  • Experience in servicing precision equipment.
  • Strong IT knowledge.
  • Awareness in PC supported instrument diagnostics.
