Senior Hydraulic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our marine engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-integrity technical services in support of submarine maintenance and workshop operations.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced hydraulic specialist to lead and guide technicians to meet team, company, programme and customer objectives. Based at our state-of-the-art facility in Woodville North, this role offers the chance to work on complex hydraulic systems while providing leadership and guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality technical services in support of submarine maintenance and workshop operations.
  • Lead and guide technicians to meet team, company, programme and customer objectives.
  • Maintain and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Mechanical trade certification or equivalent experience.
  • Training and/or certification in hydraulics.
  • Previous experience leading teams.
  • Valid Australian Class C driver's licence.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance as defined by AGSVA guidelines.
