As Counsel, you'll be a key advisor to the business, partnering with internal teams to deliver on strategic goals by providing timely, high-quality and commercially focused legal guidance that supports impact, compliance and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Advising on broad variety of legal issues including general commercial, IP, privacy, and competition law
- Supporting risk management frameworks and delivering legal compliance training
- Handling legal matters related to litigation, inquiries and more
- Remaining abreast of legal and regulatory developments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years PQE with a current NSW practising certificate
- Solid experience in commercial law, IP, IT, and competition law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and confidently
- Collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Confidence in risk-based decision-making and providing practical, business-focused advice
- Passion for continuous learning
