We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven retail leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets, improve store presentation, and maintain high morale. You will work closely with your Store Manager to identify customer trends and build lasting relationships.
You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient store operation, monitoring sales, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will effectively manage wage costs, adhere to rostering standards, and coach and mentor your team to encourage individual development.
Your role will involve ensuring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management and adherence to state and national legislation. If you have experience in a similar role, possess excellent leadership skills, and are passionate about driving sales and meeting targets, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and inspire a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and improve store presentation.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to identify customer trends and build lasting relationships.
- Ensure efficient store operation, monitor sales, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Effectively manage wage costs and adhere to rostering standards.
- Coach and mentor the team to maintain high morale and encourage individual development.
- Ensure OHS management and adherence to state and national legislation.
