Instrumental Music Educator

We are seeking a qualified music educator to join our instrumental program on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering high-quality instrumental lessons, tailoring repertoire and exercises to each student's needs.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Deliver instrumental lessons with precision, meeting the diverse needs of students from various performance skill levels
- Collaborate with classroom music teachers to integrate theory into lessons and promote the school's instrumental program among potential students
- Assist in preparing VCE Music Performance students for assessments and performances
- Lead smaller ensembles consisting of advanced students, assigning repertoire, leading rehearsals, and preparing ensembles for performances across the school
- Participate in performance evenings as required
- Other duties as stipulated by the Executive Team or Arts Performance Coordinators
- Tertiary qualification in music performance
- Experience in planning and teaching instrumental lessons
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities, including school productions, ensembles, and events
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in software programs
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management and autonomous work skills
