Join Our Brass Program

Are you passionate about music education and community engagement? We are seeking a dedicated tutor to work with at-risk students in partnering primary schools, providing brass instrument tuition and promoting leadership development opportunities.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with children, are enthusiastic about music education, and can build strong relationships with school staff and students.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience playing brass instruments, provide excellent tuition, and possess strong communication skills. Music qualifications, including teaching certifications, are preferred but not essential.

  • Deliver weekly brass tuition to small groups of students in school settings.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with Principals, teachers, and student wellbeing staff.
  • Organise special events each year, such as concerts and workshops, to promote music education and community engagement.
  • Meet the administrative requirements of partnering primary schools for all participating students.
