
Aboriginal Case Manager

Caseworkers play a pivotal role in the lives of young people and families by addressing the root causes of offending.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments, setting goals, and referring individuals to relevant services
- Maintaining accurate records and coordinating with agencies such as Youth Justice and Child Protection
- PARTICIPATING in training, supervision, care team meetings, and professional development
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, mentoring colleagues, and engaging with relevant networks to support complex cases
The role involves working closely with the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service to deliver culturally responsive, trauma-informed case management for Aboriginal young people and their families.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and relevant work experience are required.
