Animal Care Assistant

We are seeking a hardworking and passionate individual to fill the role of Animal Care Assistant. This position will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to animals, including cleaning animal enclosures, exercising and enriching their lives, feeding and general care, as well as administrative and office duties.

  • Cleaning and maintaining animal enclosures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Exercising and providing enrichment activities for animals, focusing on dogs and cats.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals, and performing general care tasks for animals.
  • Completing administrative and office tasks to support the efficient operation of the facility.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work 3-5 shifts per week on a casual basis.
  • Willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and NSW school holiday periods.
  • Immediate start required.
