
Senior Vehicle Diagnostic Specialist

As a Technical Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of our organization. Your primary objective will be to ensure that dealer technicians are able to diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
The role involves delivering face-to-face and virtual technical training to dealer technicians, including onboarding, new electric vehicle systems, and emerging technologies like advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining training content, assessments, and hands-on modules aligned with global standards; travelling internationally for OEM training as required.
Additionally, you will provide in-field technical support, mentoring, and diagnostics assistance to technicians and Aftersales Managers across the dealer network. This includes monitoring and analysing technical trends using diagnostic tools, resolving recurring issues, and supporting product rectification and reporting.
Collaboration with OEMs, engineers, and internal teams is essential to manage recalls, service campaigns, and technical communications. The successful candidate will oversee technical support operations, ensuring compliance with training KPIs, and promoting a customer-first culture across the network.
Requirements- More than 3 years of technical experience in distribution or workshop settings, with exposure to dealership service operations and NEV systems;
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) required;
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and drive results in dynamic environments;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; valid driver's licence required;
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally for dealer support.
