Job Description

A vacancy has become available for a vascular sonographer to provide specialist diagnostic ultrasound services on a locum basis.

This potential contract will see you working within a multidisciplinary vascular diagnostic team, delivering accurate and high-quality ultrasound studies and contributing to ongoing patient management.

As a vascular sonographer, you will be responsible for performing and critically analysing vascular ultrasound studies and non-invasive vascular physiological procedures.

You will deliver accurate diagnostic results to support surgical and medical teams and participate in research, education and quality improvement initiatives.

Additionally, you will maintain patient-centred communication and care throughout all procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ASAR-accredited vascular sonographer or postgrad qualification in vascular sonography with 2 years post-registration experience.
  • National Police Check and Working With Children Check.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tertiary-level vascular ultrasound, including arterial segmental testing for peripheral arterial occlusive disease (desirable).
