As a skilled Fitter General, you will maintain our diesel equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results and providing an excellent customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Workshop repairs and maintenance
- New machine pre-delivery preparation and inspection
- Customer satisfaction
- Safety / Quality
- Cross-functional support
Main Responsibilities
Fault finding, repairs, and services including but not limited to:
- Diesel and petrol engines
- Diesel, petrol, and LPG fuel systems
- Steering systems
- Transmissions – hydrostatic, powershift, and manual
- Brake systems
- Hydraulic valves and cylinders
- Electrical starting, charging, and accessories
- Service and diagnostic repairs
- Liaise with the spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
- To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
- To process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis
- Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply with requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation
- Other duties as directed

- Excellent interpersonal relationship and customer-focused
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Warm personality and open-minded
- Self-motivated
- Good technical background experience
- Hard worker, practical personality
- Solid analyzing and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical problems
- Good team spirit, experience working in a small team is an advantage
- Person who wants to participate strongly in the development of a growing business
