Plant Equipment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plant Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, with extensive troubleshooting experience in a Production/Manufacturing Environment. They will be able to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systems, as well as work on motors, conveyors, AC/DC, and PLC troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities include working with steam and boiler controls, and mechanical power drives, performing predictive and preventative maintenance activities, and adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
The successful candidate will also be required to complete timely and accurate paperwork. In addition, they will be expected to maintain a high level of technical expertise and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
- Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing Environment.
- Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
