Procurement Expert

Deliver strategic procurement solutions for groundbreaking satellite networks in the Asia Pacific Region.

This role will work locally in Australia and form part of the Asia Pacific Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with suppliers and internal business partners to implement new and existing contracts for services and equipment purchasing.
  • Structure and operate contract governance models to maintain flexibility, unmatched delivery, and availability performance.
  • Report to the Acquisition Manager and work closely with departments to implement strategic acquisitions, contract variations, SLA reporting, and pricing.

Key Activities Include:

  • Buying and procurement lifecycle management including MRP analysis, PO placement, and supply reporting.
  • Supporting commercial negotiations with telecommunications service and equipment suppliers.
  • Support the establishment and operation of contract and commercial governance, reporting, and relationship management.
  • Communicate daily issues, including engineering changes, to ensure no shortages to contract needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a high-tech environment.
  • 3+ years of confirmed ability in contract management of telecommunications products and services.
  • Understanding of contract management and procurement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Electronic, or Space / Aerospace program-related experience.
  • Experience with project management, and supplier relationship management within a low volume high mixed environment.
