Corporate Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Procurement Specialist to join our centralised corporate procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to procurement and contract management helpdesk enquiries, reviewing and approving procurement and contract registrations, and providing guidance on compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

The role involves reviewing procurement and approach to market documentation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in the development of procurement and contract management guidance. Additionally, the successful candidate will review, analyse and advise on complex strategic procurement and contract management issues, guide staff and delegates on compliance, and coordinate statutory procurement related reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to procurement and contract management helpdesk enquiries
  • Review and approve procurement and contract registrations
  • Provide guidance on compliance with legislative and policy requirements
  • Review procurement and approach to market documentation
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of procurement and contract management guidance
  • Review, analyse and advise on complex strategic procurement and contract management issues
  • Guide staff and delegates on compliance
  • Coordinate statutory procurement related reporting

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a formal qualification in procurement and/or contract management, or other relevant professional qualifications. A minimum Baseline Security Clearance is also desirable.
