Job Title: Strategic Procurement Specialist

A strategic procurement specialist is required to provide expert advice and support in the areas of procurement, contract management and compliance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering timely and accurate support through multiple channels, including phone and email.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. They will also have experience in developing and delivering procurement training programs, as well as providing leadership and coaching to team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on procurement and contracting, including probity and compliance reviews.
  • Deliver timely and accurate support through multiple channels, including phone and email.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement frameworks and deliver timely procurement outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver procurement training programs to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team members to support continuous improvement and quality service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management and compliance activities.
  • Proven ability to support operational teams while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Experience implementing best-practice approaches and driving operational improvements.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship.
  • Security Clearance – Baseline Vetting clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain).
  • Pre-employment Checks – including a National Police Check and referee checks.
