Sourcing and Logistics Expert

Our company seeks a skilled professional to fill the role of Sourcing and Logistics Expert. This position involves identifying new suppliers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and logistics, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and SAP, and excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying new suppliers and qualifying them through support from relevant categories and regional sourcing teams.
  • Negotiating agreements with suppliers and renewing price lists, terms, and conditions.
  • Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
  • Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the SAP system according to Purchase Requisitions and standard procedures.
  • Confirming delivery with suppliers and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Ensuring compliance of shipping with all local and global regulations.
  • Managing insurance, incident reports, and tracking insurance claims.
  • Managing Product Sales revenues, Goods receipt, and Supplier payment management in SAP.
