Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children in care? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervised Contact Worker to join our team.
About the RoleThis role involves facilitating safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) with their families and significant others. As a Supervised Contact Worker, you will have the opportunity to mentor children and young people in various settings, utilizing your skills and knowledge to ensure their well-being and safety.
You will be responsible for providing written updates and reports, ensuring thorough communication and documentation. This rewarding role allows you to strengthen family connections between children, young people, and their families, making a positive impact on their lives.
The successful candidate will work shifts primarily between 6am to 6pm across all seven days of the week, with the flexibility to work non-standard hours as required. You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others.
We are looking for someone with a qualification in Human Services, Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services is highly desirable, although not essential. If you have experience working with children and young people, particularly those who have experienced trauma, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities- Mentor children and young people in various settings, utilizing your skills and knowledge to ensure their well-being and safety.

- Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others.
- Australian Driver's License.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
