Family Support Specialist

  • About the Role: As a Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with families to understand their unique needs, build trust, and develop tailored support plans that promote safety, stability, and healing.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a full caseload aligned with program targets
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, carers, and DCJ staff
  • Conduct assessments and develop case plans using the Parents Under Pressure (PUP) framework
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to case reviews
  • Participate in professional development and supervision
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful workplace
What You'll Bring:
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services
  • Experience in child protection and case management
  • Strong understanding of OOHC and relevant legislation
  • Skills in assessment, counselling, and family support
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • NSW Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check
