ITS Civil Trades Assistant

Downer Maintenance and ITS is a leader in delivering critical infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland. We are currently seeking a skilled ITS Civil Trades Assistant to join our high-performing team.

As an ITS Civil Trades Assistant, you'll support the delivery of roadworks, electrical installations, and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Working alongside a dedicated and experienced team, you'll help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working on cutting-edge road and ITS infrastructure projects across Brisbane. You'll have the chance to gain hands-on experience in civil construction, road works, and electrical works.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of roadworks, electrical installations, and ITS projects
  • Work alongside a dedicated and experienced team to ensure project completion
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in civil construction, road works, or electrical works
  • MR Licence and General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Experience with ITS, traffic signals, and road lighting
  • Familiarity with plant operation
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to safety and our Zero Harm culture
