Job OpportunityLead Infrastructure Development Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of infrastructure projects in Queensland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pavement, earthworks, and road infrastructure.

The role involves managing the pre-award phase of major projects, including tender development, stakeholder engagement, and technical leadership. You will also be responsible for overseeing the execution of technically complex and high-impact works.

In close collaboration with our National Infrastructure Leadership Team, you will help uphold our high delivery standards while fostering a collaborative, solutions-focused team culture.

About the Role
  • Proven experience leading road and civil infrastructure projects, with deep technical knowledge in bridges, pavements, and earthworks
  • Strong understanding of TMR standards, specifications, and delivery models
  • A demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of civil projects—from tendering through to successful delivery
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and current RPEQ registration
  • A leadership style that builds high-performing, collaborative teams and fosters a positive project culture
  • Excellent commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • A forward-thinking mindset and the motivation to play a key role in building Abergeldie's civil infrastructure capability in Queensland
