Job Summary

This Solutions Strategist role involves working closely with sales teams to design and propose solutions that meet clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our portfolio offerings and be able to develop competitive solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to create and recommend solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Develop competitive solutions using our portfolio offerings.
  • Provide technical input into bid proposals, projects, and technical documents within the sales process.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities with existing clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and those of competitors.
  • Analyze client business processes, software, applications, ITO, and/or infrastructure requirements (RFPs, RFIs).
  • Guide proposed technical solutions through a review process for approval.
  • Lead or support solution reviews and strategic planning activities.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience and 8-10 years of relevant work experience in the IT service industry.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of prevailing industry standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, ISO Standards, Zachman, etc.
  • Familiarity with our portfolio solutions and competitor offerings.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with global project teams on complex engagements.
  • Experience in proposal processes including solution development/design review, tradeoff decisions, winning theme development, and presentation to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate solution benefits to senior IT executives.
  • Experience developing cost/benefit analysis and determining solution risks.
  • Expertise in multiple solution areas, including Server Operating Systems, Database/Information Management, Networks, Security, End User Technology, Digital Workplace Services, Virtualization, Infrastructure Monitoring, Mobility Solutions, Application Platforms, IT Processes, Governance, Measurement, Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Computing Infrastructure Services, Application Development, Software & Applications, Application Security, Integration, Enterprise Content Management, Service Oriented Architecture, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, Data Warehousing, Enterprise Architecture/Business Architecture, Business Strategy Planning, Execution, Business Process Reengineering, Management, and Simulation.
