
Solutions Strategist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with 5-10+ years of experience in the Controls industry. They will have demonstrated a proven ability to drive year-on-year growth through strategic sales initiatives.
This role focuses on Building Management System (BMS) / Controls projects and is primarily responsible for securing sales growth through install base initiatives that result in Labour & Materials (L&M) opportunities for the VIC service business.
The candidate will develop short and long-range sales plans, prepare sales strategies and submissions to reach nominated targets for the VIC BMS Service Business.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify existing install base BMS initiatives sales opportunities.
- Manage the preparation and submission of sales proposals in line with corporate policies and processes.
- Participate in tender requests to submit Johnson Controls products, systems, and solutions.
- Deliver assigned business plans, achieving secured sales volume and gross margin vs Plan.
- Provide information to management regarding the industry and recommend plans to maximise future business in line with the Service growth strategy.
- Foster strong relationships with all Customers and provide sales and technical support to Contractors, Consultants, and End-Users to maximise solution sales and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written & verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate both internally and externally at all levels and understand customer needs and priorities.
