Senior Engineering Specialist

Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions for warehouses, distribution centres, and production facilities.

The Senior Engineering Specialist will be responsible for providing solution designs, layouts, estimating, and sales support. Key responsibilities include optimizing designs and pricing to be as competitive as possible, reviewing proposed designs and costs, assisting in preparation of proposal/tender submissions, ensuring smooth and complete handover of contracts to the delivery side of our business, and monitoring design and cost erosion on completed jobs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in an engineering-related discipline and relevant logistics industry experience. Proficiency in using AutoCad or other design/drawing packages is essential, as well as the ability to learn internal design and drawing packages, including 3D's. Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, are also required.

The Senior Engineering Specialist must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced business development environment.
