Job Description

The role of Roving Chef Manager involves leading the provision of high-quality food services across multiple facilities, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining exceptional standards.

Reporting directly to the General Manager Hospitality Services, you will oversee all kitchen operations, maintain ordering systems, and supervise employees to deliver fresh and safe food products.

This position is pivotal in upholding our commitment to excellence, ensuring residents and visitors receive an exceptional hospitality experience.

About You
  • Certification 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery plus Food Safety Certification are essential for this role.
  • Experience in managing person-centred catering operations and demonstrated commercial acumen are highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of food safety regulations, including HACCP requirements, is crucial.
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to collaborate effectively with teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and oversee high-quality food service with excellent presentation.
  • Lead day-to-day kitchen operations, supervising employees and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize food costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive Food Safety Plan (HACCP) aligned with NSW Food Authority requirements.
  • Ensure business accreditation through regular internal and external audits and inspections.
