Emergency Management Resilience Officer Role

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as an Emergency Management Resilience Officer.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing emergency management focused educational, awareness and support programs to staff, community and stakeholders. They will engage with local businesses, community groups and other organisations regarding emergency management initiatives and provide support to impacted communities and partners during and after natural disasters.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement emergency management focused education and awareness programs
  • Engage with local stakeholders on emergency management initiatives
  • Provide support to impacted communities and partners during emergencies
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in project management, community engagement, education, emergency management or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating community education programs
