With the last few years filled with challenging storms, floods, bushfires and a global pandemic, the role of Emergency Management Resilience Officer, aims to actively support the community by partnering with our stakeholders before, during and after an emergency.
We're seeking a collaborative and adaptable individual, with strong community engagement skills, to continue to uphold the high level of support the community of Port Stephens has come to know, and join our team.
As Emergency Management Resilience Officer, you'll be building and maintaining strong relationships with our stakeholders, assisting them in their emergency management programs and supporting them through times of impact and recovery.

Our team is small but dynamic, with you reporting directly to our Emergency Management Coordinator, and working alongside our Emergency Management Project Manager.
There is a need to be flexible given the nature of our work is unpredictable, with flexible working hours including some evenings and weekends as required.
This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement Base Salary Range: $77,355 - $91,003 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $19,364 motor vehicle allowance + $2,464 retention allowance You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace Some of the key responsibilities within this role are listed below however you can view the full list here – v iew the position description.
