Emergency Management Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as an Emergency Management Officer.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our community before, during, and after emergencies. The primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and evaluate emergency management programs for staff, the community, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing educational awareness and support programs for emergency management
- Engaging with local businesses, community groups, and other organizations regarding emergency management initiatives
- Providing support to impacted communities and partners during and after natural disasters
- Actively seeking external funding and support for emergency management programs
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in project management, community engagement, education, emergency management or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing coordinating and implementing community education programs
