
Leading Specialist in Anaesthetic Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated anaesthetist to deliver high-quality care at our facility.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive anaesthetic services across multiple operating theatres supporting elective surgical procedures for orthopaedics, general surgery, dental surgery, urology, and obstetrics and gynaecology.
- Offer emergency airway management, ventilation, and acute pain services.
- Contribute to perioperative assessments, patient optimisation, and procedural planning working closely with Surgical and Emergency Department teams.
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA.
- Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and/or specialist pathways.
- Recent and comprehensive experience in Anaesthesia.
- The ability to maintain professional development and assist other staff, including trainees, in acquiring and developing knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, including oral and written communication, interacting with patients, students, health professionals, and the public.
- A collaborator who can network and operate within an interdisciplinary framework and work with various stakeholders in different settings.
- A leader who can adapt to a changing healthcare environment, with previous leadership and management experience, and a track record of safety and quality improvement activities.
- A professional who can commit to ongoing development, peer review, and clinical governance.
- An advocate for improving individual and societal health.
