Water Industry Development Specialist

This is a unique chance to work in the water and sewer servicing industry, assisting with requests related to new land and property developments.
Monitor trade waste and backflow requirements, and respond to build-over enquiries for this ongoing full-time position based in Warrnambool.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Support preparation of responses to council and developer referrals for development and subdivision projects.
- Contribute to the review of water supply and sewerage designs, construction standards, standard drawings, specifications, and other relevant functions.
- Process water connections, sewer connections, roof water connections, and fire service connections.
- Respond to requests related to water and sewer servicing enquiries, private water and sewer agreements, build-over agreements, and other utility works.
- Relevant experience in the water industry or public sector, coupled with demonstrated professional capabilities.
- A background in technical/design/planning/engineering or construction is desirable but not essential.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities with confidence.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
