Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Development Services Officer.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  1. Providing input into reviews of water supply and sewerage designs, construction standards, standard drawings, specifications, and other relevant functions.
  2. Processing water connections, sewer connections, roof water connections, and fire service connections.
  3. Responding to requests related to water and sewer servicing enquiries, private water and sewer agreements, build-over agreements, and other utility works.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant water industry or public sector experience and demonstrated professional capabilities. A background in technical, design, planning, engineering, or construction is desirable but not essential.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Relevant water industry or public sector experience.
  • Technical, design, planning, engineering, or construction background (desirable).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
