Data Services Team Lead

This role oversees the management of a data services team, focusing on staff development and training. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project management across various aspects of data services development.
Main Responsibilities- Lead project management efforts to drive data services development forward.
- Evaluate and ensure that data services meet the needs of a broad audience.
- Collaborate with senior executives to establish business plans and strategies.
- Nurture relationships with national and international marine science communities to promote best practices and AODN data stream adoption.
- Postgraduate qualifications in marine science or information systems management.
- Significant experience in managing information and related technologies.
- Strong leadership, motivation, and training abilities for team members.
- Experience with distributed data systems, metadata standards, and usage.
- Proven project management skills, including planning and reporting.
