About The Role As we continue to evolve and grow in the digital space at Tas Networks, we're looking for a proactive and experienced Data Team Leader to lead the development, management, and support of our data products and business warehouse operations.

The Role Will Lead and coach a high-performing technical team delivering data products, business warehouse solutions, and support services.

Oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of scalable data solutions aligned with business needs.

Support the Data Centre of Excellence, including governance frameworks, warehouse operations, and product lifecycle management.

Collaborate across teams to ensure fit-for-purpose technical designs and smooth integration.

Manage daily operations and project activities, acting as an escalation point and ensuring performance targets are met.

Drive continuous improvement, process efficiency, and adherence to quality, security, and change management standards.

Build strong stakeholder relationships and support resource planning for digital initiatives.

About You You're a strong people leader with a deep technical understanding of data products and warehouse systems.

You bring:5+ years' experience working with data products in the energy, utilities, or mining sectors.

Familiarity with metering data, Li DAR, spatial data, SAP Analytics Cloud or Microsoft Power BI an advantage.

Proven ability to lead teams, prioritise competing demands, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.

A continuous learning mindset and passion for staying across data and industry trends.

Experience working in complex environments, with a strong understanding of governance, change management, and quality assurance practices.
