About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional to undertake standardised tasks in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities include:
- Logging donor and patient samples into our electronic Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintaining stock levels of laboratory consumables and reagents.
- Preparing laboratory solutions as required.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
You will continually look for ways to optimise work processes, actively learning and adapting your approach to achieve great outcomes. You will act with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm, and be able to relate openly and comfortably with everyone.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Diploma in Biomedical science or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Excellent team player with a strong focus on supporting shared goals.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style.
